It is widely used in mechanical positioning and processing systems. To meet the demand of industry application, this thesis aims to develop permanent magnet linear synchronous motor drive system hardware and human-machine Interface hardware and software design. The fully digital control system is completed by a digital signal processor for overall drive system which is combined with linear servo motor characteristics to make practical parameter analysis for the current loop, speed loop and position loop controller design.To achieve good dynamic performance, a PI structure controller with anti-windup are employed to reduce the effects of motor and mechanical parameter variations to provide a good disturbance rejection. In the proposed method, both the overshoot and the rise time in tracking can be reduced.
