In such situation, the social capital, accumulating varieties of intelligence during the process of collaborative learning, gradually played a key role towards the final learning performance. From the prior researches, there exist few studies exploring on the effects of social capital which is generated from online learning team towards the team learning performance. Thus, this research would like to investigate the antecedent factors could influent on the online team learning performance from the social capital perspective. To achieve the goal, this research conducts the social capital theory and expresses different effects in three dimensions: social structures (interaction and connection), social relationships (trust, norms of reciprocity and identification) and social cognitive (common vision and a common language). Moreover, this research would like to investigate the moderating roles of information technology competency and professional competency on the relationship of social capital and team learning performance. Based on the collected 263 valid questionnaires and the results of analysis, it is found that social structures, social relationships and social cognition have significantly positive impact on learning performance. In addition, the results also show that professional competency has significant moderating effect on the relationship between social capital and team learning performance, but information technology competency does not.
