碩士 === 開南大學 === 空運管理學系 === 101 === Having been blocked by the Strait or battlefields earlier, many of the remote, outlying islands in Taiwan do not have the medical resources comparable to Taiwan. If any patients suffer from crucial diseases and injuries in these regions which make treatments impossible, they can only depend on helicopter emergency medical service and aeromedical transportation. The article takes literature retrospection, difference analysis and feasibility analysis methodically in terms of evaluation and researching. It focuses mainly on the difference analysis between helicopter emergency medical service and aeromedical transportation from the perspective of Penghu County. Since the Medical Center in Taichung County intends to establish a medical association (regarding to its convenient geographical position), Taichung County will become an important medical base for medical rescues related to the outlying islands. During the research, difference analysis has been carried out to equipment, regulations, risks, costs and laws. The analysis result reveals that it is feasible to develop helicopter emergency medical service in Taichung County. Furthermore, since the helicopter emergency medical service in Japan (with an environment similar to Taiwan) has been well-developed, we also take the relevant medication, treatment methods in Japan into consideration. Lastly, it is advisable for researchers in the future to add counties without hospitals offering intensive medical care such as Yunlin and Chiayi in following researches. Meanwhile, further researches can also be carried out for medication quality indicators before arrival, the functions and roles possessed by advanced rescue technicians or the evaluations of rescue/medication systems, so that the development of helicopter emergency medical service in Taiwan can be even more mature and optimal.
