Currently, 52 medical institutions have joined the program and the service force is mainly composed of social workers. This research aims to explore whether a new service model can be developed from the traditional direct clinical social work services through this One-stop Service Center program? In-depth discussion explores role-change for the oncology social workers and their coping strategies through empirical practice in the One-stop Service Center program and analysis on the attributes, service content, social worker functions, and operation models of this program. This research utilized the in-depth interview method to collect information. Eight oncology social workers from Western Taiwan with over one year of service at the frontline counter were interviewed. This research found that the multiple models with unique roles were developed from the Cancer Resources One-stop Service Center program with social worker intervention. However, due to the nature of this program and medical institutions, staff turnover rate was high; this issue was proactively remedied through proper cognitive adjustment and modification to the work mode. Finally, this research proposed several recommendations targeting on the policymaking, medical, and social work sectors. wu-tsung Chen 陳武宗 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 98 zh-TW
