Six river side bike/jog lanes around Taipei and New Taipei city have been constructed and developed. This purpose of study is to propose and test the relationships between leisure involvement and leisure benefit through the jog activity. We conducted face-to-face interviews with people who used to participate in jog activity on the six river side bike/jog lanes around Taipei and New Taipei city. A convenience sample of joggers was chosen. Data were collected from January 17 to February 21, 2013. The procedure resulted in interviewing 600 bikers. Fourteen invalid questionnaires were excluded resulting in 586 usable responses. After that, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Our results show that leisure involvement had a significant positive impact on leisure benefit. That is, a high level of leisure involvement would lead to a high level of leisure benefit. In addition, attraction and centrality were found to have significant positive impacts on balance life experience. Self-expression and centrality were found to have significant positive impacts on sound life nature. Centrality was found to have significant positive impacts on promote living quality.
