碩士 === 義守大學 === 公共政策與管理學系 === 101 === 　　According to the data from DGBAS in Taiwan, the main way to get jobs for Taiwanese was introduced from friends or entrepreneurship by themselves. This employment way emphasized that the social capital was more important than human capital. The thesis intentionally put the parents’ social capital as the main elements in research framework. It tried to understand parents’ social capital for the children’s options between schooling and employment after graduating from new established universities. 　　The research findings found the social capital inside the family would affect the children’s options between schooling and employment by parents’ education degree and career. The social capital outside the family would affect the children’s options between schooling and employment by parents’ social network. Therefore, the policy should focus on how to reduce the gap between different families’ social capital.
