The results turned out that the Determination of total phenolic content (TPC), total antioxidant capacity (TEAC), DPPH scavenging activity (DFRS), β-carotene decolonization determination (BCB) and ferric thiocyanate (FTC), which Savory essential oil is the most outstanding among these essential oils, the main antioxidant component is thymol; the best reduction power ability (RP) is orange leaf essential oils; as to the ability of metal chelated ion capacity (MC) is Lavender Spike essential oils. The results showed that TPC, TEAC, DFRS, RP, FTC and BCB positive correlation, MC is however quite different with other determination. From DPPH scavenging activity (DFRS), the results of the winter savory oils which is most significant, when the sample concentration is 1mg/mL DFRS 73.74%, median effective inhibitory concentration (EC50) for 294.51μg/mL. GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrophotometer, GC-MS) identification of their chemical composition, its main ingredient carvacrol (Carvacrol) 59.71%, p-cymene (p-Cymene) 22.01%, thymol (thymol) 8.02%, α-terpene product alkene (α-terpinene) 4.74%, β-caryophyllene (β-caryophyllene) 2.72% and 1R-α-pinene (1R-α-pinene) 1.56% configure a concentration of 1 mg / mL, and further explore the DFRS. The DFRS order: Thymol > Savory > Carvacrol > β-Caryophyllene > α-Terpinene > p-Cymene. The results showed that the phenolic antioxidant compounds were the main antioxidant constituent. Using this feature used in the cosmetics industry will be able to reduce the chemical synthesis of antioxidants add more in line with the concept of environmental protection. 易光輝 學位論文 ; thesis 104 zh-TW
