The researcher designed the questionnaire and investigated by random sampling 445 valid questionnaires, at the rate of 93.1%, from seventeen classes of fourteen elementary schools in Jhonghe and Yonghe District of New Taipei City. All the data was analyzed with SPSS/12.0 version Statistical methods, such as descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA. The following are the results of this research: 1.Most elementary school students have experience in extracurricular English learning. The learning period of extracurricular English learning for more than five years showed the largest population. 2.The overall English learning attitudes of female students in elementary school are more positive than male students. 3.Students with English learning experiences from kindergarten are more positive than others in learning attitude about teaching materials. 4.Students with more experience in extracurricular English learning showed positive overall English learning attitude, but negative in teaching materials. 5.Students with lower voluntariness in extracurricular English learning showed more negative English learning attitude in English curriculum, teaching materials and English teachers in schools. 6.The interest of extracurricular English learning is a good prediction on the students’ English learning attitude.
