Description
Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 機電工程學系博碩專班 === 101 === Abstract The thesis prototyped a processing circuit to harvest green energy, which was basically obtained through a Sterling engine to transform mechanical power from the nature and deformed piezoelectric bimorphs through an axle to regenerate electrical power. This research was one of a series of studies regarding piezoelectric material mechatronic features investigations, experimental characteristics examinations, energy regeneration performance observations, and harvested electric power processing techniques. This study mainly focused on designing and prototyping an impedance matching circuit to accommodate the electric energy regeneration mechanism, which drew green energy from the piezoelectric bimorphs for subsequent continuous charging and discharging applications. The research conducted numerous experiments to realize a specific piezoelectric energy harvest integrated circuit’s operation procedures and working conditions, and then adjusted its adequate circuit parameters to obtain a balance between its stored power capacities and load power requirements. Hence, the prototyped processing circuit successfully utilized the piezoelectric module generated electric power and was capable of charging cellular phones, lithium batteries, and small energy storage elements. Therefore, this thesis accomplished the goal to prototype a subsystem for managing regenerated green energy from piezoelectric materials. Keywords: piezoelectric material, voltage regulator, and piezoelectric energy storage circuit.
