In early days, Shuinandong, Jiufen and Jinguashi areas prospered because of containing abundant deposits of gold and bronze. History has been more than one hundred years from Qing Dynasty, Japanese colonial period and Republic of China. It came from ordinary to prosperity, and it went from prosperity to downgrade. Nowadays, Jiufen and Jinguashi prosper again, but Shuinandong is seldom visited because it is located in remote areas, even though there is the same mining industry background. Shuinandong is located at Northeast coast and it is a plain village which is with hills behind and sea in front. Residents live against the mountain and the houses are stepped. Shuinandong is named by a cave which is like Shuiliendong of A Journey to the West. There is special marine geographic biology for facing the sea. Shuinandong Bronze Factory was the biggest gold foundry in Asia when it was prospered for the mining history. Although it is abandoned but there are also historical remains which were polluted, such as Yinyang Sea, Shuinandong Bronze Factory, Flue Pipes, 13- layer Remains, Golden Waterfalls, and Li-Le Copper Refining Factory. Residents still live fishing life in the village. This study is combined with historical and humanistic specialties and natural scenery and those are special marine geographical biology, fishing life, mining history and old buildings. The research is also about biological tourism routes in Shuinandong area to provide practical biological travel routes. The work items of this project contains of reference collection and field research and it develops successful sensible and intellectual in-depth travel routes by talking to local inhabitants and understanding their attitude and thoughts.
