Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 教育領導與發展研究所 === 101 === The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between elementary teacher's emotional management and awareness of well-being in Taoyuan County.
Through a stratified purposive sampling, the study surveyed 500 elementary teachers who serve in Taoyuan County. The valid questionnaires were 445 with an effective response rate of 89%.The collected data were analyzed by means of average, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. According to the analysis results, the study obtained the following conclusions.
1. The score of elementary teachers' emotional management is above the average, of which the “emotional awareness” is relatively better.
2. The score of elementary teachers' awareness of well-being is above the average, of which the “interpersonal relationship” is relatively better.
3. Elementary teachers of different marriage, positions, and school scales in Taoyuan County had significant behavioral distinction in emotional management, but those teachers of different gender and teaching experience had no significant behavioral distinction.
4. Elementary teachers of different marriage, positions, and school scales in Taoyuan County showed significant differences at awareness of well-being, but there are no differences for those teachers of different gender and teaching experience .
5. There are significant moderate positive correlation between the emotional management and awareness of well-being of elementary teachers in Taoyuan County.
6. Elementary teachers' emotional management in Taoyuan County can be a prediction to the awareness of well- being, and the best forecasting of “emotional adjustment” .
Finally, according to the findings above, suggestions are given to educational
administrations, elementary schools, teachers and future research.
