Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 企業管理學系管理學碩士班 === 101 === Social enterprise begins with the introspection of capitalism. Despite its emphasis on maximizing profits, a business lacks the ability to create social value. Despite studies on the bright image of some corporations and healthy financial reports, negative factors such as overburdened labor or production processes may adversely impact a company environment. Unfortunately, social enterprises cannot use their resources efficiently while the owners do not manage adequately.
By attempting to create social value and dividing social enterprises into three dimensions (i.e. the essence of social enterprise, social impact and business operation), this work presents a comprehensive performance measurement model. Hopefully, based on this model, social enterprise managers can achieve the benchmark social enterprise.
Furthermore, this research uses three case studies to proof the practicability of the performance measurement model which we proposed. It also can help social entrepreneurs to achieve social mission.
