Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 101 === The purposes of this study were: 1. to compare differences on the performance statistics (batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, earned run average, strikes outs per nine innings, and fielding percentage) among four CPBL teams during the 2012 CPBL season, and 2. to analyze the relationship between winning rate and the aforementioned performance statistics. The data was collected from the official performance statistics of Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions, Brother Elephants, Lamigo Monkeys, and Sinon Bulls in the 2012 season released by the CPBL. Through the statistical analysis by using SPSS 17.0, the study found that: there was no differences on batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, strikes outs per nine innings, and fielding percentage among four CPBL teams, but earned run average of Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions was statistically better than that of Brother Elephants, Lamigo Monkeys, and Sinon Bulls. Meanwhile, the team's battle force (batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, earned run average, strikes outs per nine innings, fielding percentage) only pitcher earned run average significantly associated with winning rate.
