The work was written in sonata form strongly manifesting the Romanticism technique. The objective of this research aims at the conducting interpretation of Egmont Overture based on from the biography and background of Beethoven, and Goethe’s original play to the further analysis of music form, reaching an understanding and embodying the better conducting interpretation.
