Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 社會工作學系碩士班 === 101 === The youngsters who are forced to leave home care programs are in need of further appropriate protection whenever they are not able to live with original families. At the age of fifteen to eighteen, those youngsters are facing difficulties in everyday life independently. They earn freedom and the right of decision-making autonomously, at the same time, they feel nervous and fearful on the unexpected future. The most important thing of all for those youngsters is to get a stable employment and earn good enough income. Although some of them benefit from the welfare services, majority of them have to work hard to earn their living. And there are many factors influencing their work life, including the right conception on workplace, the employability, their motivation, skill level, mentality, and their previous work experiences. It’s a hard task they need to confront with, and getting mature from within. Based on the semi-structured interviews with 10 youngsters who are out of home programs and in jobs, 10 employers and 10 social workers, I analyzed qualitatively the perspectives of those three groups, to realize the help those youngsters received and the contents how the youngsters help by themselves. In addition, what the strength and abilities the youngsters have, so they can get jobs and work stably, and go further their independent life in the future.
