The investigation focuses on students of Shulin senior high school where the author teaches. The research investigates the study effect from three main aspects: the grades of the students and different type of admissions of entering school, various types of out-school-tutorial, and the family background of the students. The research wants to answer whether the students has better grades if they attend out-school-tutorial, and what kind of out-school-tutorial has better influence on study result, and finally the relationship between the study attitude and family background such as the economic state and the educational background of the parents and the study performance. This research uses questionaires as primary tool. The author uses independent T-test and ANOVA in statistics software SPSS. The research result shows a strong connection between out-school-tutorial and math scores in the first and second- grade students. The third-grade students shows no evident connection between out-school-turorial and their study performance in the Subject Competence Test. As the type of out-school-tutorial, the bigger the tutorial class, the better the study effect, and the earlier the students attend tutorial, the better the effect. The out-school-tutorial studying hours per week of the students has no evident relation with the study performance, which is somewhat different from the stereotypes. The self-study hours per week shows strong connection with the study effect, implying that studying attitude plays a very important role in study effect. The family background has no evident relation with the study effect which shows the equal opportunity for education in Taiwan society. 段昌國 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW |
