It also discusses the impacts caused by different factors and possible results of the correlation between teachers’ emotional labor and Job Burnout. The researcher adopted questionnaire researching method and made “Correlation between Emotional Labor and Job Burnout Questionnaire” as a researching tool. The sample amount is 300 with effective result of 266 from the teachers in Xibei Area in Yi-lan County. The questionnaire was analyzed with SPSS12.0. The conclusions are as below: 1. The current situation of emotional labor of elementary school teachers is above average level. 2. The current situation of Job Burnout of elementary school teachers is below average level. 3. There are significant impacts on emotional labor caused by sexuality, marital status, number of children, teaching subjects and administrative workload. 4. There are significant impacts on Job Burnout caused by seniority and teaching subjects. 5. The correlation between the whole emotional labor and the whole Job Burnout is low and negative. 6. The anticipation that the whole emotional labor has upon the whole exhaustion at work is relatively low. At the end of this research, the author suggests that elementary teachers should pay attention to the problems of self-emotion management and emotional labor. To better help the teachers, the schools can establish the support system on managing the students. The schools can also guide the teachers to be familiar with the positive disciplines, and create a friendly and supportive working environment. Respecting teachers’ wills to choose teaching subjects is also very important. Abstract
