Consequently, this study can determine the optimal parameters of U groove of polyaxial pedicle screw head. The experiement results are analyzed by L9 orthogonal array analysis of Taguchi method. Operators use torque wrench to insert set screw into U groove of polyaxial pedicle screw by 160Kgf-cm after the rod on U groove of polyaxial pedicle screw head. The weight of strength factors of U groove of polyaxial pedicele screw head are verified in this study. According to the statistical analysis results, the optimization conditions of factors are diameter 13mm of factor A, screw inner diameter 10.3mm and pitch 1.5mm of factor B, and thread angle 5 degree of factor C. The weight in order is screw anglem, following head diameter. The last is thread inner diameter and its pitch.
