碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 101 === In response to the trend of digital convergence, Chunghwa Telecom Company launched MOD service, branched out into the IPTV industry. Carriers for voice, television and data communications services to three different integration, thus increasing the number of applications and services and with this wave of digital convergence trend had not branched out into related industries, and thus makes the IPTV industry would soon there are alarmingly high rate of growth. This study explored the entry mode of Chunghwa Telecom branched out IPTV industry from the telecommunication industry in a nearly decade, through differentiated services, abundant financial resources to use, simple interface, supporting government policies and the provision of high-quality digital video and audio content, its viewers surpassed one million households. Although IPTV industry has yet to be integrated, but whether consumers, device manufacturers, content providers and IPTV industry operators will be updated through the business model, to obtain mutual benefit balance.
