Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 國際經營管理碩士學位學程 === 101 === Russia is the largest consuming market in Central Europe and Eastern Europe. As one of the BRIC countries, Russia’s economic performance is beyond expectation. Russia’s GDP growth increased 4.2% in 2011, the third high GDP growth rate of all countries around the globe, only Secondary to China&;#39;s 9.5% and India’s 7.8%. Being one of the BRICS nations, Russia certainly possesses huge potential in developing the telecommunication industry. In Russia, mobile telecommunications operation service is growing rapidly. In 2012 Q4, the number of the mobile subscribers has reached 227.6 million, which has an increase by 1.7 million more than Q1 2012, and compared to Q2 2011, the number of the subscribers still has a 4.8 million growth in numbers. (AC &; M Consulting, 2012) Since Taiwan government has the intention to Russian market and provide all sorts of telecommunication equipment to Russian operators, evidently, Taiwanese telecommunication operators own lots of experiences in telecommunication services; thus, as Taiwan tries to enter the telecommunication industry in Russia, Taiwan’s experience of telecommunication is respectively important to Russia. In our study, we learned that for both Taiwan’s mobile operators and Russia&;#39;s mobile operators, the number of mobile subscribers seems related to revenue, communication equipment, mobile communications technology, spectrum, retailers, foreign investments and other factors, so we will put these several factors into the SWOT matrix and KSF theory to analyze the current Russia’s mobile operators and Taiwan’s mobile operators, hoping to picture a more clear market position for both markets to find the right business strategies for Taiwan’s and Russia’s mobile communication operators.
