The environmental sustainability has been an important issue, and the advantages of hydrogen energy and fuel cell with high conversion efficiency, non-polluting and the sources of fuel diversification. As the trend of energy conservation and carbon reduction, research and development projects in the global has entered the fuel cell power system, the key materials and technology patents mostly be mastered in Europe, America, Japan and other advanced countries. Therefore, for fuel cell technology in long-term industry progression in Taiwan, to identify the key technology areas of fuel cell industry in Taiwan and to develop industrial strategy. However, the motorcycle in Taiwan is one of the highest density countries. At a complete industry chain, it can establish a market niche ahead. Therefore, on the occasion of hydrogen fuel cell scooter entering the market, mastering the core technology by patent method to predict developments in hydrogen fuel cell scooter technology, conducts a technology life-cycle assessment using the logistic growth model. This study uses the web patent databases of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), with retrieval periods ranging from 1978 to 2012. This study constructed a technology network based on the mutual citing relationships of representative technology patents, so that we can find out the largest mutual citing network to identify the key technologies of hydrogen fuel cell scooter, and further to conduct predicting the technology life cycle assessment for the development of hydrogen fuel cell scooter technology occurred at a time point of each stage. The results show the technology in maturity stage. The results of the patent analysis various countries active in R&;D in this area, including Japan, the U.S. and Germany. Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha, Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha whose relatively strong research and development capabilities. The results of this study thus provide a guideline for governments and manufacturers towards policy developments in the field of hydrogen fuel cell scooter, conducive to access to international markets in the future. 許瓊文 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 57 zh-TW
