Taiwan convenience stores operating time, still using the 24-hour mode of operation, very high electrical energy consumption related carbon costs. Convenience store energy-saving technical manuals according to the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs pointed out that convenience store outlets entire annual electricity costs would cost about 300,000 yuan, the average electricity price of 2.1 yuan / kWh, if the assumptions in Taiwan may be 10,000 to 12,000 total energy costs will up to about 36 billion Taiwan dollars, the power consumption is about 1.7 billion kWh, was how much the level of energy consumption is relatively direct impact on operating costs and revenues of each outlet. Convenience store by the view of this thesis will be Taiwan Taichung area through the green convenience store grading system for the city and county to investigate, through the the green convenience stores certified grading system, the study achieved a three-star super suppliers annual unit area average electricity consumption 1773.632 (kWh/m2.y), to obtain the two Star convenience store annual average electricity consumption per unit area from 2194.461 (kWh/m2.y), already made a star class convenience stores throughout the year per unit area of the average electricity consumption 2486.058 (kWh/m2.y). Can be found in recent years, major companies has been introduced to the concept of energy conservation and the implementation of effective control equipment power consumption in the practical convenience stores equipment,. The thesis will continue to investigate energy-saving techniques as well as its impact factor, and energy use to explore to make recommendations and to improve the target.
