It also has a lot of the application and demand, therefore design a high efficient long-term sequential algae cultivation reactor can coordinate different needs is the main objective of current research, this study use vertical tubular photo-biological reactor(PBR) for long-term Sequential culture, test CO2 fixation rate on actual application, and algae cultivation Synchronize with harvest. In this study, Scenedesmus obliquus Isolates AS6-1 which obtain from National Cheng Kung University.The cultivation parameters are described below, Detmer&;#39;s Medium, the lamination during day by the sun (about 5,000 ~ 20,000 Lux above); night by T5 lamps (8,600 Lux), ambient temperature, culture period and aeration are vary for different cultivation research. The results show that the PBR can continuously culture for 7 cycles or more, can harvest about 125 g algae powder every cycles. The 200 L scale PBR CO2 fixation rate can reach 179 mg / L / d. About cultivation synchronize with harvest, the collector can harvest approximately 17 to 33 % of overall algae powder every cycles.
