In this study, hexane is used as the oil phase, the aqueous metal solution as the aqueous phase, the use of ultrasonic cell crusher vibration promote the partial hydrolysis of TEOS as an interface active agent, so that reversed micelles in the oil phase, the Preparation of water-in-oil(W/O)microemulsion. We were using the strong / weak reducing agent as well as two different conducting polymers to make the oil phase droplets of metal cations(Au、Pd、Pt)reduced to metal nanoparticles, thus the formation of nano-silica-coated metal nano-particles.By particle size, AFM, Bio-TEM, SEM-EDS analysis results to verify this systematic approach using a strong reducing agent NaBH4 and weak reductant Vit C can be prepared silica-coated metal nano-particles, and found that strong reducing agent is better than weak reducing agent , while using a conductive polymer Pyrrole and EDOT polymer compound can be prepared polymer composite shell of silica-coated metal nano-particles.This method can be extended to the preparation of other different metal nanoparticles.
