Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 土地管理學系 === 101 === This thesis is about finding the industrial linkage and industrial clusters in Beijing Fengtai District. There are a science park and the rural-urban continuum surrounding the science park in this region, where many kinds of manufacturing industries develop. The industrial cluster is formed by the concentration of firms that belong to the driver industries and their linked industries. Since the industrial linkage can be formed either through planning, or through the demand of the market. There might be industrial clusters both in the science park and outside. But the land tenure in the science park is owned by the state, while the land tenure on the rural-urban continuum is owned by the rural collective. In the procedure of urbanization, the land owned by the rural collective is finally undergoing the process of expropriation, demolition and provision for the urban construction. This procedure would produce negative effects on the existence of firms on the rural-urban continuum, and could eventually destroy the industrial linkage and industrial clusters in the science park and on the rural-urban continuum. This thesis is aiming at proving that although the land tenure, industrial policies and development background of the Zhongguancun Fengtai Science Park and the rural-urban continuum are different, there could be industrial clusters in the science park and on the rural-urban continuum. Based on the Growth Pole Theory, the cluster analysis and discriminate analysis are employed to find driver industries in the Fengtai District. And the input-output analysis is used to analyze the industrial linkage to the driver industries. Then the standard location quotient and location quotient are used to calculate the concentration of the industry, so as to locate out industrial clusters. As for the result, there are four driver industries in Fengtai District, which are the transportation equipment manufacturing, the transportation and storage industry, the leasing and commerce service, and the construction. Together with their linked industries, industrial clusters are distributed both in the science park and on the rural-urban continuum. From the perspective of spatial aggregation, there are more kinds of industries concentrating on the science park. While there are more firms that belong to one industry concentrating on the rural-urban continuum.
