Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計暨藝術學院碩士在職專班 === 101 === ABSTRACT This research aims to apply “Jimmy’s Picture Books” to art teaching courses in junior high schools. It explores how to increase students’ drawing interest, the performance of visual images, creative thinking, imagination, and sense of achievement. The research adopts action research method through giving creative courses to 8th graders in a certain junior high school in Taichung City. Meanwhile, the researcher uses self-made worksheets, pre-test questionnaires, post-test questionnaires, students’ works, and so on, to understand and describe how Jimmy’s picture books teaching project works on students’ drawing. It is hopeful that students can meet the research purposes below: 1. Junior high school students’ performance of visual images and drawing interest can be enhanced through combining Jimmy’s teaching of picture books into multi-activities. 2. Students’ creative thinking and imagination can be increased through Jimmy’s teaching of picture books. 3. In art learning, students can feel the sense of achievement and affirm their value in themselves through Jimmy’s teaching of picture books . 4. The researcher analyzes the teaching progress and effects. In addition, the researcher’s personal professional knowledge in education and teaching can be improved.
