碩士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班 === 101 === "A Study on the Recreational Sport Participation and Constraint Factors for the Elementary School Teachers in Taichung City."This study was to explore the participation in the recreational sports and constraints of elementary school teachers in Taichung City.This study used questionnaires to survey the Elementary School Teachers. A total of 420 questionnaires were issued and 388 questionnaires were valid. The effective response rates were 92.38%. Descriptive statistics, expolor factor analysis, t-test,One-way ANOVA and Scheffe-test were used for the major statistical techniques.The conclusions were: 1. Most teachers do recreational sports 2 to 4 times per week，most of them take 31 minutes to 60 minutes each time and most teachers do recreational sports in the afternoon. 2. The most frequent partners for doing recreational sports with these teachers are their family members，and most teachers do recreational sports at school playground (hall). 3. The recreational sports that the teachers engaged themselves in most is “out-door activities,” and their favorite ones are “walking, badminton and fast walking ”. 4.Among constraint factors of recreational sports of the teachers in Taichung City, the individual factor is the key discouragement that inhibits the teachers from recreational sports, among which interest, the quality of the facilities , and physical strength influence the most. 5. There is no difference in teachers’ participation and obstacles in recreational sports in academic background, job position among teachers and years of service；；but there is difference in gender, age, marital status,and monthly income.
