Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計暨藝術學院碩士班 === 101 === Art records many fragments of the past, while also bearing the creator’s subjective thoughts. Hence, it must come from the artist’s own feelings and views, sharing relative impressions and demand, in order to continuously create their own imagery with endless passion. Creation reflects one’s inner opinions and emotions, by using creative works that express the issues that concern the artist. After ruminant self-digestion, I was able to record my feelings and thoughts toward other people and things, by means of my artistic works. Furthermore, through the construction of this thesis, I was able to clarify things that truly matter to me and discover a deeper self. In my thesis, I gradually dissected my thoughts through the discourse analysis of my creation. From the simplified pictures to the use of monochromatic; from the hidden distance to the excessive time, from the mathematic equations to getting along with others. With thorough reflections, I narrated each comparison individually. I also utilized a creation method that is simple yet repetitive, to discuss an ambiguous ambivalence. Then through the use of space, scales, and squares, I expressed time, memory and distance boundaries. Finally, the integration of mathematics into the creation and the thesis, echoed the rational and emotional thinking in the process of creation.
