Building the baby-friendly B&B is the marketing concept of parent-child B&B, aims to create a friendly and comfortable environment for babies, and the parents. This study is designed aims:(Ⅰ)investigate paternity travel accommodation needs of customer groups.(Ⅱ)explore the feasibility of metropolitan parent-child B&B in Taichung area.(Ⅲ).discuss the emphasized rules of metropolitan parent-child B&B from different academics’ views. With the literature review and field inrestigation about Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay, Japan; we drew up three dimensions (『resources and potential』,『Family Hardware Facilities Planning』and『Family planning software services』) and 19 sub criteria for AHP to assess the feasibility of Metropolitan Family B&B.The results showe that『resources and potential』turned out to be the most important criterion of the project. From『assessment of surrounding attractions in paternity restaurants』, 『interior environment with infant security measures』 and 『approachable owners』, we found these three were the most important sub criteria on developing the project. The results can not only provide lessons to B&B runners but also to encourage parents to be actively engaged in domestic traveling; moreover, to invoke emphasis from the government toward baby-friendly environments, and finally leads to birth rate growth.
