Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 資訊工程系碩士班 === 101 === Wireless communication has become increasingly developed and so much important for our life. How to achieve a stable and long communication is the most important issues. In this thesis, we proposed “An Energy-Efficient Clustering Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks,” to save power consumption. In this study will be used the clustering technology to choice the optimal cluster head, it is the most important part of this study, it can turn to form a suitable clustering, to have a stability and long life time. Sensor’s eligibility to be elected cluster head is based on it`s residual energy, it`s degree and it`s neighbors distance. This study also use the backup cluster head node to reduce the number of times and energy consumption on choosing cluster head, to further reduce network communication loading and improve the network life time.
