Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 環境工程與管理系碩士班 === 101 === At the present stage, the detection development of Chemical Oxygen Demand ( COD) toward short detection time and automatic instrument, which is definitely the current tendency, and the electrochemical method has been applied in it . The electrochemical method mainly makes use of power consumption in electrolytic process to obtain the content of reactive substance, in such electrolytic process, there are two kinds of reactions, which are direct oxidation and indirect oxidation, the current generated can be converted into electric power by means of reaction, and then the Calibration Curve is made with the concentration of reactive substance; in this research, mainly utilizes TiO2 electrode combining the electrochemical analysis method to detect COD in water. When TiO2 electrode is detecting COD, the precision and relative error can be estimated by means of statistical analysis of quality control. Basing on the scale of experiment room, the target is to develop automatic equipment.
Titanium dioxide is used as anode plate in this experiment, and to carry out the experiment with Electrochemical Amperometric method, then the Calibration Curve is finished, its experimental result shows, from 0 to 180 mg L-1 COD concentration under 1.5V, R2 value is 0.9623; the range of concentration that is 0~290 mg L-1COD, R2 value is 0.9079; and 0~700 mg L-1 COD concentration, R2 value is 0.9364. Prototype machine detects domestic sewage in plant, the range of concentration is from 0 to 179mg L-1 COD, R2 value is 0.9771; and the concentration range is 0~216 mg L-1COD, R2 value is 0.9737。Comparing with the traditional detection method, our method takes advantage of electrochemical method to detect COD, the superiorities can be reached including without using any drug that will impact environment, short analysis time, easy operation and automation.
