Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 教育研究所 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to explore the current status of elementary school teachers’ efficacy and teachers’ well-being and the relationship between them. The methodology was mainly a questionnaire survey. Two questionnaires employed were “Teacher’s efficacy questionnaire” and “Teacher’s well-being questionnaire”. The valid return rate was 98% and 470 teachers of elementary schools in Taoyuan county participated in this study. The statistical analysis were t-test, ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation, multiple regression , hierarchical regression. The major findings were as follows:
1.The teachers scored over average on teacher’s efficacy. The highest scores fell in “class management” aspects, and the lowest scores were in “curriculum reform” aspects.
2.The teachers scored over average on teacher’s well-being. The highest scores fell in “optimistic performance” aspects, and the lowest scores were in “job achievement” aspects.
3.The teachers who were male, with higher level of education , married tended to receive higher scores on teacher’s efficacy than the others.
4.The teachers who were male, with longer years of teaching tended to receive higher scores than the others.
5.There were significant positive correlation between teachers’ efficacy and
teachers’ well-being.
6.The teachers’ efficacy can significantly predict the teachers’ well-being.
