In order to figure out if firm size affects behavior of opportunity recognition, in this study, two different sizes of firms are adopted as the case study to explore entrepreneurial opportunity recognition process. The result shows that(1)actions of opportunity recognition are derive from fitness between resources and entrepreneurial alertness.(2)interpretation of markets varies with motivation of different sizes of firms’ action of opportunity recognition.(3)resources interact with action of opportunity recognition.(4)entrepreneurial alertness which represents entrepreneurs’ information processing capabilities assists entrepreneurs to recognize opportunities and take actions.(5)resources provide information which affect entrepreneurial alertness.
