The valid return rate was 94% and the valid sample consisted of 353 from 23 lifeline branches. The instruments included “Gratitude Scale”, “Coping Strategy Scale,” and “Psychological Well-being Scale”. The analysis were based on t-test, ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, multiple regression, and structural equation modeling. The results were listed as follows: 1. Lifeline volunteers’ scores on gratitude and well-being appeared above average level. 2. The most often used coping strategy by lifeline volunteers were “problem solving, reinterpretation and acceptance”. 3. Group differences were found among lifeline volunteers’ background variables such as marital status, education level, health status in terms of their psychological well-being. 4. Lifeline volunteers’ gratitude and coping strategies jointly had direct causal effects on their psychological well-being. Finally, suggestions were provided for lifeline volunteers, lifeline associations, and future research according to the findings of this study. Shu-Hui Chang 張淑慧 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 158 zh-TW
