In this study, using the virtual reality application software Unity 3.0 establish experimental scene, different scene combinations of experimental conduct different scenarios experiments. The research result shows that most of the subjects judged based on clues when the target is farther away from the subject's and the subjects need to rely on the judgment of the stereo vision. But the distance in the same depth perception and having a clue, having stereo vision, almost none effect to subjects. The most completion time is five to six seconds; completion time is approximately twice of the real scene. In the same case of equally stereoscopic, having clue is a great impact on the judgment of the subjects, almost half of the subjects are unable to determine the location of the target correctly and complete time five to six-fold higher than that of the real environment. We can find out visible clue is very important for the judgment of distance. In the future, compression characteristics of the virtual environment in deep space, virtual reality display system design should be enhanced depth perception prompted display section to avoid errors.
