It is a cross – sectional survey used a translated questionnaire, named (Workplace Bullying Questionnaire – WBQ), which was made by Quine (1991). The participants of this study were recruited from medical professionals (except physicians) and administrative staffs who employed over 3 months a self – administered questionnaire. A total of 783 questionnaires were disseminated. After being excluded invalid ones, questionnaires were 410 valid questionnaires with an effective response rate of 52%. This study used descriptive statistics, Chi – square test, independent samples t-test and binary logistic regression analysis for data processing and analysis; then proposed research conclusions and recommendations. The results show as follow: 1.The prevalence of workplace bullying was about40%. 2.Different temporary workers’ position, service department, service seniority, health status, and work support were significantly associated with workplace bullying. 3.Work support has a significant predictor of workplace bullying. The probability of being bullied who are nurse staffs is2.03 times greater than that of being bullied who are administrative staffs. 4.The average probability of being bullied whose service seniority is under 10 years is 4.8 times greater than that of being bullied whose service is over 11 years. We keep hearing that adult bullying is a problem in the health care institutions. Moreover, the excellent mental health of well – hospital staffs will be the best promise to provide patients with quality of care; Therefore, hospital managers shall pay more attention to workplace bullying at their own hospital, establish victim – protected policies, and promote employees, morale and health, in order to reduce turnover rate and new recruit training cost.
