| Summary: | 碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 醫療暨健康產業管理系碩士班 === 101 === Background and Objectives： According to the Department of Health 2012 statistics show that breast cancer in Taiwan female cancer the first place, the fourth higher mortality, early detection rate of less than 40%, showing that women have been a serious threat to life.Literatures indicated that personality traits affect cancer patients no only to take their defense, but also with the high incidence of cancer and the poor prognosis associated rather negative defensive patterns. This study intends to sacrifice motivation, personality and perfectionism coexisting personality traits such as breast cancer and non-cancer patients for the difference between the analysis and understanding of personality as a factor explaining the possibility of suffering from breast cancer.
Methods: A case-control method, in order to accept a teaching hospital in central breast screening women for the study, divided them into the breast cancer and non-breast cancer groups . By the study tool,our questionnaire contained basic personal information, disease information, trends - to avoid the expense of Motivations for Care-giving scale, almost Revised Unmitigated Communion Scale(RUCS), Almost Perfect Scale (APS-R) total of 47 question items. Statistical methods adopted independent samples t test, Pearson correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis.
Methods：There are 257 women with breast examination by physician-diagnosed in total after screen , women with breast cancer who count 105, diagnosed after screen , 105 of them were found breast cancer ,the other 152 person weren＇t. Statistical analysis showed that trend - to avoid the expense of Sacrifice Motivations with no significant correlation between breast cancer incidence, Unmitigated Communion and perfectionism.Unmitigated Communion and perfectionism logistic regression correctly predict the rate of 70.04 and 63.42％.
Conclusion: This study found breast cancer patients suffer negative effects of personality traits, it is explained by differences in personality psychology of the possible factors of breast cancer, providing preventive health care, clinical care and health education are important reference and to help women understand the negative personality effect for breast cancer prevention.
