Summary:碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 護理研究所 === 101 === In this new century, full of pioneer technology and diverse opinion in our society, however; is hard to accept the transsexual and there's plenty of stigma toward to their daily life and their social status. The first sex reassignment surgery (abbreviation: SRS) has been finished in Taiwan in 1988. Now the case who want to take sex reassignment surgery need to take a array of strict and dedicated evaluation process before the surgery in Taiwan. The average of the SRS case is around 50-100 each year in Taiwan. However, it is lack of SRS nursing experience study during these years. Our study aim to practice the theory of human becoming by Parson's to discuss the case of sex reassignment life experience and care system, to build the knowledgement of transexual group nursing care. This study is based on Parse's ''theory of human becoming'' as a guidance, practiced qualitative research by Parse nursing methodology study. The study collected the sex reassignment surgery cases (from female to become male) from the hospital in Taichung, Taiwan during March, 2012 to November, 2012. To extract the sample and analyze the interpretation from each case to fit our sample eligibility, we had one-to-one in-depth meeting with these cases. We enrolled 5 cases which are eligible for our study design in final. The result showed that the daily life experience of sex reassignment surgery case (from female to become male) including as following process: (a) In the circumstances which disagree with the gender identify disorder (GID), they still seek the support and strength from the environment where they stand to balance their emotional situation such as controversy, giving up about life, instead to having hope in their life and desire to archive the goal in their life. They are confident about the meaning of transgender in their life as well. (b) Further more, through enlightening interpretation process to abstract theoretical language to express common life experiences of sex reassignment, on the other hands; they decided to do sex reassignment which means they are sure about who they want to be , conquered the struggle from gender identify disorder and the circumstances. They wobbled between society moral and the internal flame of transsexual and found the balance between "rigid" and "reforming" concept of life to support their life and society, rebuild the self-confidence of themselves. This theoretical method and language fit the Parse methodology study's concept. It provides a heading and pioneer reference to nursing professionals which about sex reassignment surgery.
