In recent years, energy consciousness increasing, equipment efficiency has been the primary considerations for users. Transformers have been playing an important role in many industries. The stability, efficiency, and price of the transformer must be detailed considered when it is evaluated. This study mainly discusses the efficiency of the transformer, core characteristics of amorphous transformers, and benefit analysis of different types of transformers. Amorphous transformer core characterizes low iron loss, and is only 1/3-1/4 the loss of silicon steel transformer core, which is a high-efficiency transformer. This study compares the benefits of amorphous transformers and silicon steel transformer, using total operating cost evaluation. The results showed that amorphous transformers under lower load conditions obtain the best energy efficiency, and under higher load conditions the total operating costs are higher than that under lower load ones. The installed capacity of transformer is generally 1.2-1.3 times to the estimated maximum load; therefore, the loading of amorphous transformers often fall in 50 %~70 % installed capacity, making the advantages of amorphous transformers apparent. This thesis provides valuable benefit assessment results for amorphous transformers. Keywords: Transformers, Amorphous Transformers Yann-Chang Huang 黃燕昌 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 56 zh-TW |
