of residential fire by evaluating the factors of subjectively and objectively residential fire characters such as building height,fire original floor,flame and smoke contingency,the number of trapped people,water resources,traffic conditions,response time,fire strategies and tactics,spatial characteristics and so on.
In order to assist dispatcher performing dispatch decisoins,this
paper utilize the analysis of literature,expert interviews and
questionnaires to reveal the better method of assessing the required fire
resources on the fireground.The quantitive results not only provide
suggestions for constructing a new Computer-Aided Fire Dispatch System
but also rapidly enhancing the accuracy of required fire resources,increasing rescue efficiency,soaring cost-effectiveness and reducing risk.This research evaluated 29 administrative
jurisdictions of New Taipei City in Taiwan that result could be a reference of the other sort of places .
