The workplaces selected in this study were without any observable source of carbon dioxide and bacterial bioaerosols except the workers in the indoor environment. The concentrations of bacteria fungi, and carbon dioxide were collected. Two different ventilation types of the air-conditioned workplace were tested including type 1 with window closed, and type 2 with window opened, and type 3 was no air-conditioned workplace with window opened. Using simple linear regression in the correlation analysis, the determinants included bioaerosol concentrations (dependent variable) and the carbon dioxide concentration (independent variable). Drawing five kinds of graphs, including graph (A) Cbioaerosol vs. CCO2, (B) Cbioaerosol vs. CCO2, I-O, (C) the same with (B) but the intercept is 0 forcibly, (D) Cbioaerosol, I-O vs. CCO2, I-O, (E) the same with (D) but the intercept is 0 forcibly. The results showed that indoor bacteria bioaerosols and carbon dioxide concentrations are mostly higher than outdoor, indoor fungal bioaerosol concentrations are mostly lower than outdoors. Bacterial bioaerosol concentrations were positively correlated with the concentration of carbon dioxide, and the relevant regression models were established mostly. If the indoor workplace was without any observable source of carbon dioxide and bacterial bioaerosols except the workers in the indoor environment, you can use the indoor carbon dioxide concentrations to estimate indoor bacterial bioaerosol concentrations to operating environment control and management.
