Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國科技大學 === 土木與防災設計研究所 === 101 === In this work, commercial software Autodesk® AutoCAD Civil 3D® 2013 (Civil3D) is used as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) development tool. As an example, a program (BIMRW) written in VB.NET programming language is developed to support retaining wall design, which is commonly needed in slope engineering. A retaining wall object model is defined in Civil3D Subassembly Composer (SAC). Through BIMRW, engineers can directly try and analyze different design configurations within Civil3D. At the end, the calculation results and design diagrams can be outputted directly. This makes it quick and easy to make decision, and therefore man power spent in engineering design can be reduced, and engineers’ productivities can be improved. In conclusion: 1.The first requirement to use Civil3D as a BIM application platform is to establish a flawless subassembly model. 2.A tool based on Civil3D platform for retaining wall design and analysis has provided BIM characteristics such as dynamic adjustments and multiple section views, and has made it significantly easier for data acquisition and subsequent output to engineering drawings and design calculation reports. 3.Design result is exported to KML format, which can be positioned and displayed on GoogleEarth. Although it does not match elevations with terrain, we can still use it to show details, and use KML format to publish the structure to GIS systems quickly. 4.As feasibility of using Civil3D as a platform to develop retaining wall is validated, we can add other civil engineering structures such as slope drainage facilities, slope protection facilities and integrate them to develop a slope engineering planning and design system in the BIM framework.
