This study outlines an approach to application of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) in what kind of information do we need and how to provide information during nuclear accident. It used information technologies to provide service of public users to know display disaster prevention information such as range and concentration of the radiation dose. By SOA, we search for the service requests at first, according the results from literature and nuclear information website reviews, five information included (1) the location and time of nuclear accident, (2) environmental factors, (3) emission of radiation dose, (4) Range and concentration of the radiation dose, and (5) modeling validation. Second, many information database are provided to go through the service, corresponding to five disaster prevention information characteristics, Meteorological models, Air Quality models, geographic Information and radiation information for nuclear accidents is adopt to design efficient nuclear accidents information. Finally in service registry part, a nuclear disaster prevention information system was build that integrated the geophysical information system to dynamic display disaster prevention information based on Web service. After interviews with experts, they suggested the environmental factors, modeling validation and integrates with geophysical information system are key issues to understand the impact of disasters, and the design of the system has a considerable contribution in preventing nuclear disaster.
