Description
Summary:碩士 === 致理技術學院 === 服務業經營管理研究所 === 101 === The rapid economic development has caused natural resources to be constantly developed, environmental destruction and energy consumption, raising environmental consciousness. Therefore, countries worldwide gradually promote environmental protection and energy saving. Enterprises everywhere have begun to attach importance to sustainable development of green management and other related topics. If enterprises want to implement environmental management, it depends on the supervisor's leadership style to promote the implementation of green management policies, as well as education and staff training to cultivate green capabilities and lead the enterprises to enforce the strategic social responsibility. Hence, enterprises can take advantage of their own expertise and resources to target goals and invest in charity to contribute to the society. Therefore, this study would like to explore if sustainable development enterprises are able to be competitive in the market. Since the International tourist hotel industry relies heavily on natural resources, this study takes the international tourist hotels in Taiwan for example. Exactly 300 questionnaires were distributed to the northern, central, southern, and east hotels and a total of 162 questionnaires were returned. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis is used to examine the relationships among leaders’ transformational leadership, the company's green management, strategic social corporate responsibility, employees’ green capabilities, and enterprise competitiveness. The results show that transformational leadership can positively affect green management in hotels through the development of strategic social corporate responsibility and employees’ green capabilities, and then enhance the hotels’ competitiveness. Finally, this study gives some suggestions to the practical and academic fields.
