Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 營建管理學系碩士在職專班 === 101 === Abstract This reacher tried to investigate how the idle spaces of the elementary schools in San Yi Village were reused and the degree of satisfaction of the users. The aims of the study were to explore : 1. the current state of the campus idle spaces. 2. what were the difficulties to reuse the spaces. 3. what were the possible ways to reuse them. 4. what were the users’ satisfaction degree. Data was gathered by questionnaires and interviews. Respondents were 5th and 6th grade students in four elementary school in San Yi County, school staff, and members of the communities. Interviewees were composed of schools’ directors and section chiefs who were responsible for reusing the idle campus spaces. Total 402 questionnaires were issued and 375 of them were valid. Statistic methods, such as T-test, Descriptive statistics and One-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. Results were as followed: 1. The elementary schools in San Yi County had received the funding from the government to reuse the idle campus spaces. 2. The main problems of the reuse of the idle spaces in San Yi elementary schools were manpower deficit and lack of the expenditure of maintaining. 3. The degree of satisfaction was between “cannot agree more” and “agree”, in another words, the approval rating was relatively high; There were no significant differences between the satisfaction degree and the two variables, “ the scale of the school” and “the geographic location.” It meant the satisfacton degrees of the four elementary schools were almost the same. 4. The satisfaction degree of the “community interaction” factor was lower than the other three factors. According to the results, suggestions were made for the schools, education departments of the government, and the community members. I hope that these suggestions would be helpful for those who would reuse the idle campus spaces. Key word: idle campus spaces ,reuse, reusing the idle campus spaces
