Summary:碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 飛機系統工程研究所在職專班 === 101 === In this thesis, we adopt the Plastics− Determination of tensile properties (CNS 15606-1, K61183-1) lately announced by Chinese National Standards(CNS) to fabricate specimens and to determine tensile properties of continuous basalt fiber reinforced phenolic resin composites. Investigation has been made on the manufacturing, equipments and practical applications of continuous basalt fibers to offer an alternative to carbon fibers or glass fibers. Also, continuous basalt fiber reinforced phenolic resin composites own preferable mechanical properties and excellent fire resistance. In the thesis, two kinds of composistes were made, namely continuous basalt fiber reinforced phenolic resin composites and continuous basalt fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites, for experimental studies of tensile properties and fire resistance. Finally, some conclusions are made on the experimental results as well as the specimen fabrications. Also, future studies on continuous basalt fiber reinforced phenolic resin composites are also recommended.
