Due to the advancement of modern technology and the immense transformation of society, the transportation ways between two places has gradually switched from walking in agricultural times, bicycles to modern traffic facilities, such as motorbikes, vehicles and aircrafts. It also demonstrates the relativity between the amount of vehicles which is reaching to a summit and the growing of traffic accidents. The rescue operation of fire department is against the clock, and if there’s any traffic accidents occurring on the way hindering the firefighters to arrive safely, it is not only consuming the manpower of other departments by reassigning the resources and causing more severe loss of the suffering people because of the delayed rescue, but also leading to the casualties of the on duty department. Such things happened would be a great sorrow to all people.
Therefore, this research collects domestic theses relating to traffic safety, and seek outs the suggestion to apply to traffic safety. It also analyzes the difference among the category of fire engines to complete the enforceable advice of driving security. Besides, it discusses the related laws and decrees of road when fire department is on duty to induce the results that on what situations can a fire department driver defend for his rights and what are the things in short which shall be attended to. In the end, it uses the consultation with the experts to make the conclusion by questionnaire survey and statistical analysis.
The research result indicates that, by conducting periodical training, together with annual recurrent training and appraisal, the technique of the on duty driver would be proficient and excelsior. And by all sorts of campaigns and media to conduct the public education of traffic safety and the accurate way of yielding to on duty fire engines, the on duty drivers can work in a more friendly conditions, which helps to lessen the occurrence of traffic accidents.
