However, the selected insulation materials has become an important issue for the construction industry. It can be selected a variety of insulation materials from the industry. Consider the advantages of performance, price competition in the market and construction convenience in the market to achieve energy efficiency. The construction industry is actively promoting the objectives. This study tries to use two different insulation materials. One is an electronic bridge-type PE (polyethylene) insulation board. The other is PS (polystyrene) insulation board. By using the single thermal conductivity of insulation materials characteristics, the roof of the building maintained at a fixed range of temperature. Or delay the outdoor temperature conduction to the indoor. By the experimental measurement comparison process, and then analyzes two kinds of insulation material applied for the roof insulation, energy efficiency and conduct of its engineering analysis. In the present study by using two different insulation materials, actual applied for the same area of the roof after testing. Compared the differences of energy efficiency. We found that PS insulation material is better than PE. PS insulation material used as roofing can save the electricity. As a basis for future criteria, to reduce air conditioning load and obtain the effectiveness of carbon reduction. This study may provide future reference for the building planners and designers.
