Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 管理學院碩士學位學程在職專班經營管理組 === 101 === In this study, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is applied to evaluating the relative performance of 14 sales divisions of Banqiao Office of the case company. In addition to directions for improvement based on the results of DEA, the feasibility of reorganization is also discussed. Firstly, through the analysis of the overall efficiency, slack variables, technical efficiency, scale efficiency and sensitivity, the result shows that the relative scale of production between the sales divisions of Banqiao Office is unbalanced. Some sales divisions have poor efficiency in using production resources, and there is still considerable room for improvement. Secondly, three reorganization plans for sales divisions of Banqiao Office are proposed in this study, and the result of evaluation shows that the average overall efficiency is increased in both Plan B and Plan C, while Plan C has higher average and lower standard deviation than those of Plan B. We conclude that Plan C is a relatively feasible reorganization plan. The analysis and suggestions proposed in this study are based on the theoretical perspective and evaluation result of DEA. Some information within managerial implications can be provided to the management of the company for future business decision making.
