Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 101 === A home-based cardiac rehabilitation system is capable of continuously taking real-time vital sign (including ECG and heart rate) and motion detection monitoring. To ensure safe rehabilitation exercise, a schedulability analyzer is needed to predict whether a given set of tasks can meet their deadlines under a specific scheduling algorithm before the actual execution. In this thesis, a deadline extension mechanism for making suggestions when the target system is not schedulable under Rate Monotonic Scheduling (RMS) algorithm is proposed and evaluated in an experiment conducted in a real environment. Experiment results show that the proposed method presents promising results for improving the overall flexibility and scalability of the systems.
